About the Author
Ruth E. Stitt is an ordained minister, professional counselor, musician, and author of two previous nonfiction works. Drawing on her background in theology, psychology, and pastoral care, she brings emotional depth and historical insight to her fiction.
She has recently completed her first novel, When The World Was Broken, the story of a family’s struggle to survive across continents in the wake of the unimaginable horrors of Nazi Germany and a world war.
Ruth writes from the Texas Hill Country, where she lives with her husband and continues counseling, consulting, blogging, and performing jazz and contemporary music.
