Worship
Ruth is a freelance worship leader and guitarist at various locations in the Texas Hill Country. She is familiar with and appreciates many worship styles, having led worship throughout diverse worship movements, including Integrity Hosanna, Passion, Hillsongs, Vineyard, Lakewood, Revival in Belfast, Brownsville revival, Bethel, and Maverick City. Her jazz background gives her a unique style, but she enjoys supporting worship cultures that already exist in the churches where she serves.
Cats in Hats
The trio Cats in Hats consists of Ruth on guitar and vocals, her husband Rick on drums, and Frank Little on bass.
Cats in Hats plays jazz standards with plenty of improvisation, as well as a variety of contemporary songs they have arranged to express their unique style. You’ve never heard a group quite like them.

Solo Performer
Performing solo allows Ruth to offer a different variety of acoustic material, drawing from the rich archives of the music she grew up with, from many genres and songwriters. She mixes in obscure, forgotten songs, a little swing, some jazzy ballads, and a few originals.
